ZHONG CHENG

Born in Yunlin, Taiwan, Yang Polin is the chairman of the of Asian Contemporary Sculpture Association in Taiwan, and a resident artist at the Chinese Culture University. He has also devoted himself to public arts and landscape designs. He won the Yunlin County Top Ten Outstanding Youth competition and First Prize in other public art competitions. His solo Exhibitions: “1st Solo Sculpture Exhibition - Pregnant Series” (1985, Spring Gallery, Taiwan); “Solo Sculpture Exhibition - Heaven and Earth Series”, (1989, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taiwan); “Solo Sculpture Exhibition - Meditation Series” (1989, Crown Fines Arts Center, Taiwan); “Solo Sculpture Exhibition – Flying Seed Series” (1999, Polin Yang Studio, Taiwan); “Here I Am - A Solo Exhibition by Poling Yang” (2010, Museum of Contemporary Art, Taiwan). Joint Exhibitions: “Scultura Internazionale a Racconigi” (2010, Turin, Italy); “Japan Four Major City Modern Carving Interchange Exhibition” (2011, Japan, Fukuoka). His works are in the collection of by Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
