Wang Shiu-Kung has never stopped his creativity in making new artworks. Starting from 2005, he had been to Jindezhen several times to make big-sized multicolor glaze platters. He had mixed the glaze from local with his own and experimented on pottery platter and used local kiln to produce ceramic plate. After overcoming various difficulties such as crackdown of objects, loss of glaze and inaccuracy of color, Wang Shiu-Kung had come up with successful result.

In Wang ‘s work “ray with Multicolored Glaze”, glaze was applied on the platter placed on a turntable, one layer of glaze plied on another. Wang Shiu-Kung specialized at a wide range of various color glazes, and “ray with Multicolored Glaze” contained the philosophy of extreme simplicity.
