In the world of Lai Tse-hsiang’s sculpture, a guiding philosophy pervades his entire

 

 

work. The finished sculpture placed in natural and quiet setting displays the interchanging light and shade that is very dynamic and natural, as if one of the members of nature is enjoying the four seasons. Lai Tse-hsiang’s “Speed” has turned the conceptual expression to form the external carving and plasticizing to enhance the quality of work, stretching texture of concave and convex in the space, then injected and coated with bronze into works as a simple coat, sometimes into the fine arc, sometimes, the vertical edges and corners to form a sequence of works of the soul. As easy as breathing, the cold body is brought to life. In Taiwan’s sculpture art sector, he works quietly like the practitioner of “diving dragon” to promote the realm of “jumping from the pool.” The process is difficult, but I believe that his faith and dedication to art will produce exhibition results of perfection.
