Exposition：

In a creative career spanning more than forty years, Ku Fu-Sheng has experienced the clash of Eastern of Western cultures and the debate between tradition and modernity, but has never lost his faith in human dignity. To further investigate the content and form of Ku Fu-Sheng’s art, I will broadly divide his career into a number of stages and attempt to briefly state the distinctive psychological character of each period, as basis for further analysis and discussion.
