ZHONG CHENG

Jeff Koons, born in York, Pennsylvania, USA, is one of the renowned contemporary pop artists known for his bold use of kitschy images and forms, earning him the nickname "Prince of Kitsch." He graduated from the Chicago Art Institute and the Art Institute of Chicago. Before gaining fame as an artist, he briefly worked in finance. In the 1980s, he held exhibitions in New York's East Village, attracting significant attention. In 2008, he had his first retrospective exhibition at the Palace of Versailles in France, and in the same year, his exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago set a record for museum attendance.

Koons draws inspiration from the appropriation and readymade art of Marcel Duchamp, transforming everyday modern objects into works of art with utmost precision. He is considered one of the most important pop artists since Andy Warhol. His famous large-scale creation, "Balloon Dog," earned him the reputation of being one of the highest-priced living artists in the world.
