Born in Sichuan. In1962, he graduated from the Graduate Course at Professor Dong Xiwen’s Workshop at Central Academy of Fine Art. In 1969-79, he was the Vice-Chairman of Hebei Artists Association. In 1979, he cooperated in the project of Beijing Airport Wall Painting with Yuan Yunsheng. In1986, he furthered his study in Paris, France. Now, he is Class 1 Artist of China.
