In 1986, Fei Zheng furthered his art practices with Lu Xi Guang in France, and held a personal art exhibition in Cite International Des Arts. He is currently one of the prominent artists in Hebei Art Institute. Fei Zheng is a southern local who resides in the north, and nostalgia is always seen in his artworks. He has been greatly influenced by the southern culture and pursuits the northern aesthetics and spirits. The customs, streets and even scents of the streets brought out nostalgia. With the passing of time, the content related with life decreases into an image that is detached from narration. 《Scene》depicts the pain of homesickness. In《女孩》, Fei Zheng utilized versatile oil paint to show the innocence and youth of a girl. Beneath the layers of brushstrokes, viewers could feel the gentleness of an art piece.
