Yang Guoxin’s works deal with the means of managing visual materials to explore the impact of digital on our visual experience. He produces a new quality of space by first in computer processing some fundamental picture materials, and then hand-paints on the processed images. The process is of some essential significance, because it confuses the lines on traditional meaning between virtual and reality, subject and object, expression and reproduction, advertisement and art.
