Exposition:

The later creative years of YuYu Yang represent his mature periods with the production of stainless steel works. Which combine the Chinese Ecology and Buddhists ideas with the modern advanced materials to make simple abstract sculpts. The surface of stainless steel is as smooth and clean as porcelain in Song dynasty; its specula reflection can reach the surrounded objects and viewers or to soft the ambience with the actuated viewport, so that the work itself can have a harmonious and perfect fusion of surroundings and viewers.

Yuyu Yang’s parents have settled in Beijing for years and he lived in I-Lan when he was a child. He was dying to see his mother; However, the coming back of his mother was as rare as the coming Phoenix flying from the sky. The Kuanqian rabbi revealed that the later Phoenix works of Yuyu Yang, like advent of the Phoenix created for the Osaka World Exposition, were inspired by the memory of his mother.
