Exposition：

Freud's Theory of Personality Development is always related to the concept of sex. Desire represents everything. Human pursue desire to continuously develop and grow; human have to confront desire. Wang’s paintings unceasingly explore human’s subconsciousness which is then expressed on the canvas. The individual in the painting is sitting on the hips with the hands holding seedlings just sprouting, in which the hips represent desire and the seedlings indicate growing and developments. The figure’s reserved motion in the painting symbolizes that human can not confront 
the desire, yet.
