The burning and passionate fluorescent colors and unrestrained brushstrokes are wildly poured onto the canvas, with the dazzling light and the almost aggressive speed to compose the dizzy visual impression. His style is somewhere between abstract and expressionism. Though these is still information about images and words from the real world in the non-narrative atmosphere, the information is just incomplete fragment, emerging in the way of visual element. Yang Shu’s splendid and exciting works allows us to get some momentary relief and tranquility under the tense pressure of urban life.
