A painter from Guangdong, Luo Wenyong shows considerable strength in contemporary art. Having studied under Guo Runwen, the contemporary master of realism in China, he presents even the smallest detail, uses a style that is simplistic, and continually works to improve his painting techniques. His choice of realism was due to his ability to skillfully paint and control the object with a realistic beauty. In controlling the “media” of painting, he has mastered the expression of realism.

“Partners” captures the simple and touching moments of life and depicts the scene of a child sitting happily on the prairie with a mastiff by his side as his faithful companion. The child’s eyes radiate innocence and contentment, and the overall painting exudes a warm and gentle tone and portrays the scene as if it were happening right before you.
