Huang Gang's ''The Himalaya Sunrise'' utilized mass amounts of Buddhist scripts printing boards which are not only a material experiment but also embellishment of the appearance. They also depict holy perseverance during the monks’ practice and sending the message of Buddhism and nihility. The big white strokes are the symbols for snow territory culture; it represents the impressiveness of the Himalayas with a hidden message of Tibetans life and culture that has been passed along for generations. Before the artist's revealing the scripts, they are tools only meant to be seen for religious reasons. However, when it is combined with an art language, it has transformed into a spiritual medium of the mother earth.
