Jin Yu's "Contact Point" is a speculation of human existence, with exaggerated and twisted way of questioning of the surface and the implication hidden between. Jin Yu described objects with metallic texture and mass surface of red and gray color blocks, he presented a strong contrast in color and attraction. Along with the adding of Chinese costumes, he expressed the spiritual side of human nature. The artist’s nature toward experiencing life and imagination is also presented. This type of formative language came from years of contemplation and realization of contemporary art.
