In Rao Song Qing’s artworks, the blue and grayish color tones show his isolation towards human nature. The lonely figure exists silently in the boundless scenery. This privacy is like a stubborn questioning of a being, the stubbornness is mixed with a sense of lost. Rao Song Qing layered simple light colors to create a shockingly harmonious composition in the painting. Maybe the exquisiteness of the colors brings a unique soft atmosphere in the monotone gray. Viewing Rao Song Qing’s artworks, the viewers can experience the most delicate and subtle feelings. Viewers can also enter his world of meditation and therefore bring upon self reflection. Rao Song Qing’s art language, potentials and abilities are convincing, yet he is humble and keeps a low profile, he is shy and impulsive. With the simple dreams fading away with the reality in life, Rao Song Qing creates a visual balance by bringing back the memorable times that were lost. Viewers are touched by the silence power under his brushstrokes in face of these gentle yet intense paintings.
