The picture of “Shanghai Night” is painted with a rainbow of color, passes a dynamic rhythm, match well with the ambivalence of the city. Scenery after the thunderstorm in Shanghai is vividly presented through his painting. His enthusiasm for Shanghai is well expressed by his portrays of the saltant lines. He is more familiar with the changing of the city for he is often walking through the streets and lanes in Shanghai. He could paint freely on various subjects such as buildings, roads and streets, trees and a flood of vehicles. He feels the outside world with his heart and soul in the whole process of his painting career, and his works created with his enthusiasm and dedication record the history and flourishing of this city.
