In many Asian countries, tigers are the symbols of exquisiteness, fortitude and potency.  People are fearful of tigers yet wish for their strength; therefore, conquer it to overcome and as a testimony of bravery. This piece ‘Tiger” is a masterpiece by Liu Qi Wei, with a baby tiger as the main character, yellow and black interweaving to embellish the smooth black lines. The heroic posture of the tiger is lively shown, with a chilling glance in the eyes.  Under his brushstrokes, tigers are presented in many facets, so adorable that people have no fear going close to them.
