After the 1990s, Cao Xiao Dong was influenced by minimalist creation of expanding from points into the maximum. “Scenery” stroke a balance between the western materials and oriental landscape, it showed the traditional elegant and quiet literati painting and an atmosphere that made human and nature in one. Western abstractionism is created by expanding in a minimalist style; other the other hand, Chinese abstractionism is created by the support of thousands of year implicit culture, minimizing from the maximum.
