For a long time, Chang Yoshio lived in difficulty and depressing environment and the process had been drifting and being destitute yet his life is still full of legendary colors. The artworks are presented in depressing and angry black, the contours are covered with black strokes, it is the period known as the “black lines period”. “Street View”has a strict and balanced composition, and the bright sky reflects the optimism in the painter. The brushstrokes are thick and sophisticated, the atmosphere is in unison and complete.
