An artist that bloomed during the industrial period, Liu Lei placed industrialization as a crucial element in his artworks. However, many other artists enjoy using these elements as the background, rather than the main object. Liu Lei differs from others by utilizing industrialized elements as the main object, rather than the background. These hard mechanics and the era they represent composed his art expression. The sharp brushstrokes, bright and vivid colors in  “Harley” left a great impression on viewers.
