In earlier times, Hou Jun Ming published his artworks in the name of Hou’s from Liu Jiao, his home town. Art’lee and Mido are the names of his wife and daughter. The artist unified these names and created with love and glory. The series created in the year his son, Misha was born was called “the year of Misha” (2005). It is a presentation of a loving father expressing his love for his family in a unique way.

After moving to Huoyan Mountain, inspired by the pebbles behind his house, his water ink is presented in a single color vastly painted on the canvas. Giving the “The First Year of Mi-Shia Era” unique feminine qualities. Between the rocks, people are like infants sleeping, resting and receiving nourishment following the order of nature. Even though life is full of twist and turns, it is still full of vitality and prosperity.
