Yang Din’s work are like him as a person. He combines his self with an artistic life and integrates the western and eastern ideas. While intuition, spirituality and self-out are valued in the east, reason, materialism and ego are emphasized in the west. He does not focus on the training of techniques, but also streets the inner disciplines, a pursuit of tree branches that are stacked up with color cubes. The only endless changes are in the shapes of branches and the spacing of leaves. His consistency and perseverance are the main reason for his marvels in the world of paintings. Chinese paintings place an emphasis on the spiritual expressions. The most effective way to strength and further express the spiritual status is to simplify the shapes.
