“Snow Terrain” series , the white background on the large-scale surface reveals the nobility and purity of the Snow Terrain in Tibetan Highland. Artist’s freely and passionately spiritual experience lies in the vibrant brushstrokes, along with the poetic and abstract movement of lines and dots. The material he chooses are special so that lacquer and color are mixed up to paint again and again so as to get a gentle and implicative effect. Using the traditional Tibetan woodcarving sutra and hand copied sutra as the materials, he sets them into paintings to present some religious composition forms in Tibetan tradition. Together with idealist hues in Tibetan paintings, he organizes and stacks them, in a religious piety and extremely simple style, into his paintings, with a skill just like repetition skill in pop arts.
