He Chauchu is one of the few remarkable post war artists. He inherited the Taiwanese first generation’s cubism, and then create a painting world rich of his personal style. He Chau Chu paid extra attention in expressing an airy mood in ”Bouquet”, and viewers can easily notice his skills in using white. Regardless of the distance between spaces or the directions of cuts, the white harmoniously spread across the painting creating an insipid effect.
