Help seekers often are those who cannot live independently in terms of politics, economics, or spirit. They are minorities and marginal people; they, to put it more specifically, are individuals of the minority group. Yet, figures on Shi Lifeng’s paintings radically change the concept of the minority group; these people, differed not by age, occupation, or characters, but by the gender only run, jump, climb and fall in crowds, just to struggle to free themselves from the existing hardship or dead end.
