Exposition:

Through the observation and contemplation of culture to invest human postures and to collect thoughts through the forms of all things, Kuo Zhen Chang has always been characterized by painting human figures. It can all be traced back to his explicit studies of folk culture. Viewing it from the narrative point of view, "Beauty"is the reproduction of his previous "Eighteen Disciples of the Buddha ". It is a description of all things, narration of different expression of human spirits.

Just like the Buddhist disciples that linger on earth, the female figure is expressed completely without reserve. The figure starts off with lust, sitting in the world surrounded by flowers, and the painting is full of affection and the transcendence in one’s limited life. This firm belief of growth, acceptance and change is completely departed from the traditional passive and despair characteristics of females; instead it shows an indomitable vitality.
