A sea filled with sailboats that are both nearby and floating into the distance is a way for the artist to demonstrate his skillful use of space and perspective within his work. Looking far ahead at the mystic atmosphere of nature, a hint of sun is hidden within the layers of clouds. The water horizon overlaps the clear sky putting its viewers at ease and in a dream-like state of mind.
