ZHONG CHENG

Liang Pingcheng, born in 1958 in Pingtung, Taiwan, graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Chinese Culture University in 1983. In 1982, he founded the "Clumsy Bird Art Society" and won the 8th Lion Art Newcomer Award in 1983. Liang Pingcheng specializes in wood carving, with a unique style that embraces contemporary aesthetics. He once said, "The external appearance of things is not the truth; the truth lies in the essence within. This is how we can rediscover a new possibility for sculpture in the context of contemporary culture."
