ZHONG CHENG

Naoki Gujo, born in 1982, is an artist from Japan. He graduated from the Craft and Industrial Design Department with a focus on lacquer at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2007. In 2009, he obtained a master's degree in lacquer art. He draws inspiration from the creatures that appear in his imagination and dreams, creating a wide variety of imaginative characters. Most of these characters are depicted in a state of slumber, adding an element of mystery and a touch of ambiguity to his work. Originally existing solely within Naoki Gujo's fantasies, his creations bring these adorable and ethereal creatures to life in the hearts of his audience.
