艾德加.普連斯 Edgar Plans (b.1977)

Edgar Plans was born in Madrid, Spain in 1977. At the age of 15, he began learning from artist José María Ramos, where he developed a deep understanding of color mixing and how it can express a desire for freedom. He also learned how to arrange compositions to express his inner thoughts, and once said, "The canvas is never blank in the eyes of an artist; it's a reflection of his thoughts."

Plans' style is full of childlike wonder, imagination, and energy. His "Animal Heroes" series features young children dressed as superheroes and has won fans around the world. At first glance, Plans' work seems to be full of magical fairy tales, but upon closer inspection, they contain dark elements such as sexual violence, discrimination, and environmental damage. His characters' dynamic eyes contain naked issues, which serve as a constant reminder to viewers to reflect on these issues.

Plans' works are held in public collections such as the National Museum of Fine Arts in Cuba, the Asturias Art Museum, the Government Committee of Asturias, the Eduardo Úrculo Municipal Museum of Fine Arts in Langreo, and the LABoral Technology and Creative Industries Centre in Spain.
