Peng Wei was born in Chengdu, China, she graduated from the Oriental Culture and Art Department at Nan Kai University of Technology in 1997. In 2000, she received her Master’s degree in philosophy. From 2000 until 2006, she was the editor for Chinese Artists Association Magazine Currently, she is a first-class artist at the Beijing Art Academy, and member of Chinese Artists Association. Her solo exhibitions includes: “I Thought of You – Peng Wei Solo Exhibition” (2017, Suzhou Museum, China); “Coming Full Circle - Peng Wei Solo Exhibition” (2015, National Museum of History, Taiwan); “Hong Kong Art Basel” (2014, Ora-Ora Gallery, Hong Kong); “Letters from a Distance – Peng Wei Solo Exhibition” (2013, Taipei, Tina Keng Gallery).
