Born in Shandong, Yan entered the Shandong Academy of Arts in 1997. Exhibitions and awards: In 1998, the distinguished prize of “The 20th Anniversary of National Reformation Art Exhibition” ; In 1999, Sandong “Two Generations” art Exhibition he won the 3rd prize, 1999; In 2000, the 2nd price of “The First Sandong Life Drawing Exhibition”. “Future of the Art ”, China Art Exposition and Guanzhou Art Exposition, in 2001; “Splendid, Splendor”, Beijing, 2002; “the 1st Art Seoul”, South Korea, 2003; “Taipei Art Fair” Chinese Contemporary Art exhibition in 2004. Taipei by Shoreman Art in 2005. And in 2006, Yan published his works at “Asian Art” magazine.
