His graduate in 1982 from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Art’s College of oil painting and now teaches there as a professor. His oil painting ‘Cold Dish’ won the Outstanding Sichuan Young Artist Award in 1985 and in the same year was selected for the national ‘Progressive Young Chinese Artist Art Exhibition’ is 1994 art work “Street Gossip’ was selected for the 8th National Outstanding Artwork Exhibition where it received the outstanding Artwork award and was put on display in the china National Museum of Fine Arts. In 2000 more than thirty of his works were invited for a personal exhibition in Singapore.
