ZHONG CHENG

Born in Hainan in 1930 and graduated form FuHsingKang Art Academy. Chen established Tse-Hai Painting Association in 1958, and participated Bienal de São Paulo in 1961. In 1962, he joined ChangFeng Art Association Exhibition at Taipei Museum. He stopped participating all the public painting activities and then devoted himself to research materials, color, style and skin texture for 20 years. Chen returned in 1985 and held the 1^st solo exhibition at American Culture Center in Taipei. Chen’s artistry was selected by the 1^st and 2^nd International Biennial Beijing in 2003 and 2005.
