ZHONG CHENG

黃致陽 HUANG CHIHYANG (b.1965)

Huang Chih-Yang was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He graduated from the Chinese Culture University in 1989, he now lives and works in Beijing. He won the Asian Culture Council Prize in 1996 and went study oversea in America, he also won awards from Biennial of Venice 46th Exhibition International Art in 1995, Asian Culture Council Prize in 1996 and Art Exhibition of Taipei County in 1997. Huang has participated in more than 70 joint exhibitions at home and abroad. Recent exhibitions include: “Lovers Library”, (2000, Ethan Cohen Gallery, New York); “Lovers Library” (2001, Hanart Art Gallery, Taipei); “I Am a Cute Germs” (2001, Crosspath Culture-White Box, New York); “Three Marks" (2004, Lin & Keng Gallery, Taipei); “City Landscape” (2006, MoCA Taipei); “Zoon:Beijing-Bio” (2007, Beijing, Pekin Fine Arts); “Zoon- Peripheral Vision (2008, Hong Kong, Hanart TZ Gallery); “Eternal Boarder” (2009, Taipei, ITPark); “Eternal Boarder” (2009, Beijing, Pekin Fine Arts); “Huang Chih-Yang Solo Exhibtion” (2010, Taipei, Beyond Gallery). His works are in the collection of many important foundations and museums such as UBS, Barclay’s Wealth, AIE, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Fine Arts, Taipei Museum of Fine Arts, Guandong Museum of Art and National Art Museum of China.
