ZHONG CHENG

Born in Taichung, Taiwan, Cheng graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts. He was instructed by Lee Chun-shan, and is a member of Modern Eyes. He was drove by modernism painting conception apprehending that he as a modern artist must always be creative and innovative, must find a symbol that belong to himself and to express the serious course of inner thought. He has held 9 exhibitions in Taichung, Taipei and Kaohsiung and participated in more than 20 group exhibitions since 1971. Cheng’s works was collected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, and etc. He has devoted himself to the art education and promotion for recent years, and also found Holistic Education School in 1995.
