ZHONG CHENG

陸國英 LU GUOYING (b.1924)

Born in Shanghai, China. In 1942, she studied painting under the instruction of Yan Wen-Liang. Llater she graduated from the Shzhou Fine Arts School in 1947. In 1955, she was admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1955 and was taught be Russian master Максимов.K.M.

She returned to teach at the Nanking Art College right after graduation in 1957. Currently, she serves as the professor of Nanking Art College and is the member of the Chinese Artist Association. Luo has been long dedicating herself to arts education, and especially excels at oil painting using portrait, landscape, still life and flower as subjects. Several of her works are selected and exposed in magazines, newspapers, exhibitions and competitions.
