ZHONG CHENG

Chen Yi-Lang was born in Chiayi, Taiwan. He engaged in woodcarving in 1986 under the instruction of master Yeh Huan-Mu in Sanyi, and later founded his own studio in 1991. He won first place in the Fifth Woodcarving Golden Award in 2001, and the third place in the Provincial Woodcarving Competition in 2002, his work was selected in The 7^th Woodcarving Golden Award.
