ZHONG CHENG

Gao Huijun was born Hebei, China. He graduated from the Central Industrial Art Institute in 1992. In 1995, he attended the Beijing China Art Expo and won the “Outstanding Work Award”, the same year he participated in China Modern Art Exhibition held in Germany. From 1996 to 2002, he held numerous solo exhibitions in Beijing and Singapore. His important exhibitions include: “Contemporary Art Show” (2002, Beijing, China); “Exhibition by Twenty-one Contemporary Artists” (2003, Beijing, XRAY Art Center); “The Opening of a Joint Exhibition by Twenty-one Contemporary Artists” (2003, Beijing, The Panorama Gallery); “Expression and State” (2003, Beijing, Taikang Space); “Chinese AVANTGARDE” (2004, Jakarta, Venessa Art House); “Inner Nature- 2011 Exhibition of Paintings by Gao Huijun” (2011, Shanghai, Longman Art Projects); “Solo Exhibition” (2014, Hongzilan Art Center, Beijing); “Solo Exhibition” (2015, Beijing, China); “Way deep in the Clouds somewhere: Gao Huijun” (2015, Beijing); “Dimensios of the Landscape Series No.1 Gao Huijun’s Solo Exhibition” (2016, Beijing, Lanng Art Center); “Gao Huijun Solo Exhibition” (2016, Beijing). Her works can be found in the collection of art institutes in England, Germany, Switzerland and more.
