ZHONG CHENG

高木智廣 TOMOHIRO TAKAGI (b.1972)

Tomohiro Takago was born in Gifu, Japan. He graduated from the Musashino Art University in 1992, and travelled to New York in 1993. He visited the village of Papua New Guinea in 1994 and found the subtle relationship between present-day and primitive lifestyle within nature. He returned in Japan in 1997, and reside in Kyoto until present day. His recent exhibitions include: “Still Life” (1998, Tokyo, ES Gallery); “FALL TO THE HOLE joint exhibition” (2000, Tokyo ES Gallery); “JET Group Exhibition” (2002, Kyoto, SOWAKA Gallery, Tokyo ES Gallery); “YUREI-GUMO” (2004, Kyoto, SOWAKA Gallery); “The Zoo Which the Human Being Plays” (2007, Tokyo, Nabis Gallery); “Fur Away” (2010, Taipei, Elsa Art Gallery); “Fallen Forest” (2011, Tokyo, Unseal Contemporary); “Empty Bird- NUE” (2013, Japan, Chukyo University).
