ZHONG CHENG

Born in Henan, China, Duan graduated from Henan Art School in 1979 majoring stage art, and then he graduated from Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Fine Arts of Academy in 1983.

Now he is a prominent oil painter, professor of Fine Arts Academy of Capital Normal University and member of Artists’ Association. Recent exhibitions: “Duan ZhengQu Oil Painting Exhibition”, Shengling Gallery, Shanghai, 2005; “Duan ZhengQu's Art on Paper Solo Show”, Beijing Fine Art Academy, 2007; “Duan ZhengQu & Duan JianWei's Art”, National Art Museum of China, 2008; “The Progress of Painting, China's Eight Leading Expressionist Painters Exhibition”, National Art Museum of China, 2009.
