ZHONG CHENG

Born in 1985 in Hebei, China, Jiang Lai graduated from the Fine Arts department of Hebei Normal University. She is a painter, writer and illustrator for the Hebei Fine Art Publication Firm. Most of her painting subject surrounds the topic of adorable “piglets” from the Chinese Zodiac. Her artistic style is inspired by traditional Chinese-ink, and modern painting techniques; her warm and vibrant colors are complimented by spontaneous and lively lines. Her artistic approach is sincere yet dynamic, child-like and vivid. Jiang Lai’s illustrations series depicts the new style of her era, receiving recognition as an up and coming artist of the new generation.
