ZHONG CHENG

吳競 WU JING (b.1932)

Born in Liaoning, China. He was admitted to Beiping Art School in 1948, and graduated from Sculpture Department of The Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. He once worked at the ceramics factory in Zibo City, Shan Dong Province, and then became the professor of Sculpture Department of The Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is now one of the members of the China Artist Association. He had participated in creating the “Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Embossment”; his work “Lin Qiao Zhi Bust Sculpture” was selected for the 6th National Art Exhibition of the People’s Republic of China and was collected by The National Art Museum of China; his work “Qi Gong” was joined the National Sports Art Exhibition of the Republic of China and have been exhibited at the Beijing Shijingshan Sculpture Park.
