Born in Yogyakarta, Indonesian. She Learned painting when she was very little, and completed study at the Indonesian Institute of Arts and Surikov Art Institute. In 1933, Erica was awarded Best Art Prize of the 9th Dies Natalis ISI. Today, Erica is said to be one of the most prospective artists in Indonesian. Her artwork genuinely expresses who she is and reflects her life experience and interests.
